Alleykattz inc is a non-profit, all volunteer rescue organization serving Long Island, New York City Metro, and the surrounding areas. We are dedicated and committed to rescuing abandoned and homeless cats, and those in danger of abuse and neglect.
Cats in our care are fully vetted and temperament screened, then placed in nurturing and loving foster homes, while we seek out their perfect forever family through a comprehensive adoption process.

Experienced trappers needed to help cats in unfortunate situations.
FOSTERING
Open your heart and home to a cat in need & play a major role in helping
that cat to be ready for adoption.

Rescue is extremely rewarding but can also be overwhelming! There are countless cats and kittens in need, and we do our best to help as many as we can, but we depend on the support and help of volunteers to make this happen.

There is no set type of person to volunteer. All our volunteers vary from one to the other and their unique backgrounds and life experiences contribute to the ways in they are comfortable volunteering.
There is no set rule for how many hours a days or days a week person must volunteer. People donate however much time they can, and we are grateful for every hour given!
